The South East European University has appointed Prof. Sam Vaknin, a CIAPS faculty member, as a visiting professor.
The appointment was announced in a letter signed by the Rector of the SEEU on 16th September 2024.
As a visiting professor, Sam Vaknin will lecture students in the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and Contemporary Social Sciences on behaviour economics, philosophy of psychology, clinical psychology, international finance, and FINTECH.
In approving the nomination, Commonwealth Institute Director, Prof Anthony Kila, commented that CIAPS was delighted to read about the SEEU appointment. He also stated that he had no doubt that Sam Vaknin’s contribution to SEEU would be valuable. He hoped this would mark the beginning of more fruitful collaboration between SEEU and CIAPS.
The South East European University (SEEU) is a private, public, not-for-profit higher education institution specialising in socio-economic sciences. Its faculties, centres, and institutes are integral parts of the university. SEEU Faculties are organisational units within the University and operate through the Faculty Council and University policy framework approved by the University Board or Executive Committee.
SEEU has seven faculties: The Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies, the Faculty of Business and Economics, the Faculty of Contemporary Social Sciences, the Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Communication, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Faculty of Technical Sciences.
