There is no great idea, great project, or great society that has become great without the influence of a teacher. It is easy to forget, but the best part of us is due largely to the influence of one teacher or the other.
In celebrating our teachers, we are appreciating part of the source of our present achievements and investing in our future collective greatness. Most great people also teach.
This year, CIAPS is putting together a list of 50 great teachers to be recognized for their input into great lives. Please nominate a teacher who is now retired or dead and who has contributed to your life or inspired you in one way or the other.
