CIAPS to Host Public Lecture on Brexit and Africa

All is now set for the hosting of the February 2020 edition of the CIAPS Public Lecture. The theme of this month’s lecture is “Brexit: Africa from Nigeria”. The keynote speaker will be Former NIIA Director General, Prof. Bolaji Akinterinwa, a renowned International Affairs Expert and public commentator.

Also billed to speak at the event are Dr Sina Byron-Fagbenro Ex Regional Director DFID, Rotimi Olarewaju CIAPS Head of Policy and Product Development as well as Funke Treasure, Ace Broadcast Journalist.

The event slated for Wednesday, 26th February, will start at 11 am and finish at 12:30 pm but will have its red carpet open at 10.30 am.

Commenting on the CIAPS Public Lecture series, CIAPS Centre Director Anthony Kila noted that the event is “part of our efforts to understand and help to improve the world we live in” he also noted that “a lecture like this one is an opportunity to engage with and also educate the general public and professionals on issues that will soon affect their world”.

This CIAPS Public Lecture (Themed “Brexit: Africa from Nigeria”) will take place at CIAPS on Wednesday, 26th February 2020, and will start at 11 a.m.

The event starts at 10.30 am.
