Structure and Delivery
The CIAPS Professional Certificate in Public Policy and Management consists of a series of taught modules, research seminars, workshops and conferences around the world. Participants will also be offered the opportunity to visit selected commonwealth countries to undertake a professional exchange programmes, placement and projects.
Classes are delivered through a combination of lectures, seminars, workshops, and online learning activities. Participants will also have access to a range of online resources and support services.
Who should attend?
The CIAPS Professional Certificate in Public Policy and Management is designed for senior public sector managers, directors, senior civil servants, heads of ministries, departments, agencies and policymakers who are responsible for managing public sector organizations and shaping public policy.
Participants should have meet at least 3 of these 5 conditions
- Possess a Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Have a minimum of 10 years of work experience
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a manager or equivalent
- Be sponsored (even if part) by employers
- Possess evidence of ability to study in English language

Applicants for this course should have a first degree or equivalent (Bachelors, HND). Having a good grade is a major advantage. Applicants without such qualifications may apply, but their applications will be subject to a more complex process and they will be required to demonstrate their ability to successfully follow the programme.
In all cases, applicants will be tested by CIAPS through written assessments and verbal interviews. Applicants will be deemed successful only if they are judged to possess a good mix of:
