Overview
A common error with job seekers or those wishing to change jobs is not to consider the needs of prospective employers. Even the most qualified candidates sometimes don’t know how to present their skills. Too many job seekers are looking for jobs in the wrong place and in the wrong way. Most people don’t even remember or bother to consider that it costs employers time and money to examine job applications and applicants.
This CIAPS Career and CV Clinic is aimed at helping participants develop efficient ways of preparing for Job Applications and Career Development.
The programme is rigorous, interactive and very engaging, it is strongly recommended that participants come with questions and issues relating to specific problems they have to deal with in their jobs search.

Dr Dipo Awojide obtained a PhD in Strategic Management from Loughborough University. He has worked in the Banking and Financial Services Sector and as a Researcher in the Human Resources Department at Brush Turbogenerators, UK. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer in Strategy at Nottingham Business School. He has expertise in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Personal and Professional Development, and Leadership and Employability.
Dipo is also the founder of BTDT Hub, a Human Capital Development Company.
He takes a genuine interest in the development of young people, teams, and organisations. He has mentored well over 1,000 young people from the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Russia, India, China, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, and other countries. He also delivers training to companies to optimise their performance.
Rotimi Olarewaju is a financial consultant with vast experience in the banking sector spanning well over 15 years. A consummate professional with experience in agricultural development programs and construction amongst others. Currently, he consults for a number of small and medium scale businesses in various fields.
Ayo Owoeye (MILR, MCIPM, MCIA, HRPL) Insight Redefini Group Head, Human Resources. Insight Redefini is the integrated marketing communication arm of Troyka Holding with over 360 employees affiliated with Publicis Groupe, France.
