Paul Pattison is a Curriculum Manager, Educationalist and Media Expert. He studied English Language and Literature and History in Australia and Creative Writing in Cambridge.

After completing his English and History degree in 1986, Paul gained a place in the Faculty of Education at the University of Adelaide. Whilst training to be a teacher he developed an academic interest in broader educational issues. In particular, he is interested in the relationship between education and English language and literature, exploring how students learn through using language in the classroom.

Over the past twenty-five years, Paul has taught English and Media Studies in a variety of institutions in England and Australia and managed the English Department of a school in the United Arab Emirates. A keen sportsman, he also coached cricket professionally throughout this period, and he now teaches and researches Creative Writing in Cambridge.
