Dr. Oluwakemi Olukoya is a Public Health Professional and IVF/Fertility Physician. She received her medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos and obtained further clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St George’s Hospital, London and Boston Medical Center, USA. She has a Master’s in Public Health with a double major in Epidemiology, Maternal and Child Health from Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH), USA. At BUSPH, she received a Merit Scholarship Award and the Maternal and Child Health Leadership Education Program certificate. In addition, she has a certification in Health, Safety and Environment from the Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals.
She is the founder of Preval Healthcare and Consulting Services, a healthcare organization dedicated towards solving health system challenges and providing holistic care to women, babies and families. Also, she works with Medical Assisted Reproductive Technology Center, Lagos, where she has set up a research unit that has produced local and international publications. In addition, she has worked with the Boston Public Health Commission, Massachusetts State Department of Public Health, Boston Medical Center, USA, the Nigerian Navy Hospital and Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
She is a member of various committees and associations including the National Committee for Research and Publications, the Association of Fertility and Reproductive Health, the Lagos State Malaria Committee, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Public Health Association.
