She is a recipient of the University of Leicester Award for Managerial and Leadership Skills. She graduated with a 1st class honours in Management Studies from the University of Leicester and joined Cambridge University to do her postgraduate degree with research in Modern Society & Global Transformations, which she completed with 1st class honours.

She has lived in Rome, Italy and has toured the South East Asia.

Her areas of research include business development, internalisation and transformation in modern society. She is a member of the CIAPS Project team and will mentor postgraduate candidates.

Katie-Jane is a keen sportswoman and she enjoys water sports and running.
