She graduated from the London School of Economics in Media and Communications for Development, where she also worked as a researcher for the International Development Department.
Her international academic and professional work experience has taken her to Europe and America working as a Researcher, Journalist and Head of Communications for various Organisations.
She worked as Head of Communications for the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy based in New York and the Citizenship Foundation in London, developing communications strategies, plans and campaigns, with strong support in the area of New Media and Social Networks.
Ana has worked as a politics and economics journalist internationally, having developed a great understanding of mainstream media structure, operation and management. She also teaches in Cambridge where she is a Faculty Member of the European Centre for Advanced and Professional Studies.
