Alan is an expert in server-side scripting languages for web development, client-side scripting for web design and S.E.O. He is currently developing websites and applications for music management and media productions.

He studied Computer Science and graduated with a first-class honours degree. His area of research includes the implications and applications of social media on businesses and web development specifically for mobile applications such as Android and Apple devices.

He is also interested in analysing business usage of the internet and social media, and advising on optimising exposure in these arenas.

An Ex-Army Logistics and Close Quarter Combat expert, he has over thirty years of experience as a qualified Martial Arts Instructor. He is still a regular runner and continues to practice Martial Arts for general fitness.
