This is to inform the general public and all entrants to the recently concluded CIAPS Public Interest Essay Competition that the next set of results for the competition will be published 8 May 2017.
According to a statement on the Centre’s website (www.ciaps.org) “The essay competition was open for entries for about three months, and over 250 essays were submitted.
Results were due to come out on 10 April 2017 but CIAPS, the Lagos based International Graduate School for Postgraduate and Professional Studies has had to change the date due to challenges CIAPS faced in getting panelists to sit together.
Confirming news of the postponement the CIAPS Centre Director, Prof Anthony Kila commented that participants in the competition must be very anxious and that the postponement is quite regrettable. He however noted that luckily CIAPS did not take any money from any participant. The entry was free and nobody paid for forms or any other fees to CIAPS.
He further stated that content of the entries also ranged from brilliant, interesting, to dull and even annoying.
Kila wished all the entrants the very best and assured results will be by the stated date of 8 May 2017.
